Sustainability at UC Santa Barbara takes a look at the various projects and efforts that are actively taking place across the University to combat climate change and take care of the environment, both locally and world-wide.
IRISH TOUR AGENCY VR/360 VIDEO EXPERIENCES
With creative agency BigO, I created a series of immersive virtual reality/360° video experiences along the Wild Atlantic Way. A natural gem in the West of Ireland, Ireland’s Tourist Agency rebranded the 2,500km stretch of stunningly beautiful coastline as the Wild Atlantic Way, transforming the western sea board’s landscape into a catch-all destination. The four VR experiences included surfing, horse-riding on the beach, sea-stack climbing and mountain biking.
MAKING GREAT ART WORK
The Arts Council of Ireland worked with creative agency BigO to create a video to showcase the artists selected for funding under their open call “Making Great Art Work” scheme. The Open Call is an Arts Council initiative which funds ambitious, one-off artistic projects by some of Ireland’s best artists and arts organisations.
Lighthouses of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Ireland’s tourism agency, Failte Ireland, requested a video of epic proportions and power to showcase the wonderous and beautiful lighthouses that dot the Wild Atlantic Way.
Director & editor of music video for September Girls album, Age of Indignation. inspired by the psychedelic visual palettes of Jodorowsky and Argento, the video premiered February 2016.
WAKING THE NATION
Working with the team at The Abbey Theatre and the Ireland 1916 Centenary Celebrations, I directed and edited a video created to reveal the upcoming series of theatre pieces created for the 100th anniversary of Ireland’s Easter Rising.
